Fireworks in Eirias Park and North Wales 2018

It’s that time of year again, and there are so many firework displays in the area for anyone willing to wrap up warm and get out there in order to enjoy them. We’ve put together a small list of firework displays occurring in the area, for your convenience.

Firework Displays Close to The View

Monday, 5th November – Colwyn Bay / Old Colwyn – Eirias Park (A few minutes walk from The View) Just a short walk away from our beautiful development, will host a fireworks display on Monday the 5th of November. The gates to the park will swing open from 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm, and a firework display will be set to follow at 7.30pm.

Admission is completely free, but donations are always welcome, as they are for the Firefighters’ Charity. (Which we all know is a very good cause!)

Even though we’re quite sure we’ll be able to see everything from The View, we’re still going to be there!

Weather: Partially cloudy, but dry. There will be a slight breeze, but the temperature will be around 10 degrees.

Saturday, 10th November – Llanrwst – Plas yn Dre Car Park (27 minutes by car from The View) A half-hour drive from The View is the pretty and picturesque town of Llanrwst, and their fireworks display on Friday,  November the 9th . Fireworks are to be set off at 7pm sharp, so we advise that you give yourself plenty of time to park and get a good position.

As with the Eirias Park fireworks event, admission is completely free though donations to the Firefighters’ Charity are encouraged.

Of note at this event is a fairground, as well as food and hot drinks, so it’s a great opportunity to take the family and make a night of it.

Weather: Cloudy, with a slight chance of (very light!) showers, and a moderate breeze. The temperature will be around 8 degrees.

Saturday, 10th November – Penmaenmawr – Penmaenmawr Sailing Club (17 minutes by car from The View) Less than 20 minutes away from our development is the Penmaenmawr Sailing Club, who have their own display on the 10 th of November with the support of the town council. This display is set to take place on Penmaenmawr Promenade, outside of the Sailing Clubhouse.

We’ve been informed that the event will take place from 5:30pm to 8pm, and that hot food and drinks are going to be available throughout the event.

Weather: Cloudy, with a chance of showers. The temperature is set to feel like around 7 degrees, and there is a moderate breeze.
