Bonfire Nights Firework Displays Happening in Colwyn Bay and Llandudno -

Colwyn Bay

Tuesday, November 5th

Held at Eirias Park, the event is for a fantastic cause, helping to raise money for a firefighters’ charity. Despite the fact that the event is absolutely free, any donations given are split in half, with half going towards the costs of the event, and the other half to go to the firefighter’s charity.

The bonfire blazes off at 7.15 pm, with the firework display launching at 7.30 pm. Bring your pocket money as there is plenty of food and refreshments available onsite.

If you are lucky enough to have a rooftop balcony with outstanding panoramic views over Colwyn Bay then you will be able to see the display from the comfort of your own home (that means those living at The View apartments will be able to enjoy the show with a glass of bubbly).

Cost: as mentioned totally FREE, although donations are welcome.

Llandudno

Wednesday 30th October.

This locally famous event takes place at the iconic setting of Llandudno bay’s North Shore promenade. This event is taking place a little earlier in the year than usual to be in conjunction with the tides.

The event begins at 6.10pm and goes on until around 9pm

Cost: FREE with donations accepted.

Where: Llandudno Beach

If either of these events tickles your fancy for an explosive bonfire celebration, then you should get on down and enjoy this loud night of the year with a warm coat, pair of gloves and some sparklers to boot. There are sure to be some delicious bonfire baked potatoes or some chips to keep your bellies warm.
